If the book wasn't out at the Chronicle booth it was either because (a.) they were hiding them until my signing on Friday, or (b.) because they were already sold out. So don't worry, either way, copies weren't available. Sorry they ran out so quickly. Hope you'll still pick it up. Will - Also sorry you weren't able to get a copy in SD. It's too bad I didn't run into you—would have been nice to say hi. Not everybody in line at the signing got a copy either because they ran out. I really wish there had been more copies—I was running into tons of people on Saturday telling me they really wanted the book. There were so many people I missed this year through my own incompetence and the general overcrowding of the 'con. I hear the line for your book signing was about about a mile long so my chances of grabbing a copy were slim at best. Arrgh!
